Facility Master Plan
Camp Kamassa’s thoughtfully designed 400+ acre campus is intentionally crafted to meet the diverse needs of children and adults with special needs and chronic illnesses. Every space prioritizes accessibility, safety, and inclusion, allowing campers of all abilities to participate fully in the camp experience.
The campus centers around a welcoming Campus Core where gathering spaces, dining, activities, and medical support come together. Accessible pathways connect each area, ensuring easy navigation for wheelchairs, mobility devices, and sensory-friendly movement throughout the grounds.
Within the Campus Core are many of our specialized activity zones, offering outdoor recreation, water activities, adventure elements, creative arts, and social spaces—all arranged to reduce transitions and maximize comfort. Lodging areas form a peaceful “neighborhood,” with cabins featuring modern accessibility, spacious layouts, and close proximity to program areas.
Camp Kamassa’s layout creates a safe, seamless, and empowering environment where campers can move freely, try new things, and feel right at home.
