Camp Kamassa serves a wide variety of medical conditions and special needs — including autism, cancer (adult and pediatric), brain injury, spina bifida, sickle cell disease, mobility impairment, muscular dystrophy, and more.

Make a splash with us at Camp Kamassa for an afternoon of fun in the sun! Join us on Saturday, August 15, from 2:00–5:00 PM for a family-friendly Pool Party featuring swimming, music, yard games, and plenty of summer fun.
Our accessible, zero-entry pool provides a welcoming environment for guests of all ages and abilities to enjoy a relaxing afternoon together. Whether you’re floating in the pool, cheering on friends in water games, or simply soaking up the sunshine, there’s something for everyone.
Bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and your friends for an unforgettable afternoon at Camp Kamassa. Refreshments will be available for free and our camp store will be open for souvenirs.

Join us for a special day created for friends with sensory needs. This low-sensory event is ideal for individuals with Autism or anyone who benefits from a calmer environment. This day will be filled with worship, fun activities, and time with friends. Participants will enjoy games, crafts, and outdoor recreation, all supported by caring and trained volunteers.
A delicious lunch and snacks will be provided, ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for every camper. Families and caregivers can take a well-deserved break while their loved ones enjoy a meaningful, joy-filled day.
Caregivers are also invited to a Brunch & Learn from 9:00–9:45 a.m.
Camp Heart Hope is a free day camp, hosted by the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for kids and adults living with congenital heart conditions.
Designed to provide a safe, supportive, and fun-filled environment, Camp Heart Hope gives campers the opportunity to enjoy traditional camp activities while connecting with others who understand the unique challenges of living with a heart condition.
With UMMC’s experienced medical team on-site and Camp Kamassa’s fully accessible facilities, campers and their families can enjoy a day focused on fun, encouragement, and community in a medically supportive setting.
Whether it’s trying something new, sharing stories with new friends, or simply enjoying the excitement of camp, Camp Heart Hope is a place where every camper can experience belonging, hope, and adventure.
Join us on Thursday, October 1st for the MTK Charity Golf Tournament at Whisper Lake Country Club in Madison! This exciting event will feature two shotgun starts at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM, along with a delicious buffet lunch, beverages, and snacks included for all participants.
Proceeds will benefit Camp Kamassa, Mississippi’s only year-round camp designed specifically for children and adults with special needs and chronic illnesses.
