The “Multi” at Camp Kamassa is a versatile indoor activity building designed for year-round fun in a spacious, temperature-controlled environment. This welcoming hub gives campers a place to play, explore, and connect—rain or shine, summer or winter. Inside, you’ll find multiple activity zones tailored to a wide range of interests and abilities, ensuring every camper can engage at their own pace and comfort level.

From creative arts and games to sensory-friendly areas and small-group activities, the Multi offers something for everyone. Whether campers are looking to unwind, express themselves, or burn off some energy, this flexible indoor space is built to accommodate all needs.

Activity Areas

“LAKE LITTLE” LIBRARY: While you are at camp, enjoy shelves stuffed with children’s, adult, and even braille books. Did you find a special book you’d love to have as your own? Take it with you as a souvenir from our camp!

J.H. KENDALL FAMILY” SENSORY ROOM: The Sensory Room, outfitted by Beyond Therapy, offers a calm, welcoming space for campers to relax, regulate, or take a quiet break. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and gentle sensory features create a soothing environment that supports every camper’s comfort and emotional well-being.

“EDITH KITCHENS” MUSIC ROOM: This creative space is filled with musical instruments perfect for downtime. Play the red piano, grab the boomwhackers, strum a ukulele, or keep the beat on the bongos—there’s something for every camper to enjoy.

CERAMICS  ROOM: Weekend or week-long camps, our ceramics activity offers a wonderful chance to create a personal keepsake. Campers can choose from a variety of greenware pieces to customize, and our staff will guide them through each step. Every project is glazed, fired, and ready to take home by the end of the event!

“WOODMEN OF THE WORLD” WOODWORKING ROOM: Our Woodworking Room is a hands-on space where campers can design and build their own projects. Equipped with adaptive tools and guided by our staff, it’s a safe, creative environment for learning, crafting, and taking home a custom-made keepsake.

“THERESA FOUNDATION” ARTS & CRAFTS ROOM: The Arts & Crafts Room is a vibrant space where campers can unleash their creativity. From painting and drawing to crafting unique projects, this room offers endless opportunities for self-expression and hands-on fun. During downtime, campers can also enjoy board games, puzzles, card games, and more.

“STRENGTH” TEACHING KITCHEN: The Teaching Kitchen is a hands-on learning space where campers explore cooking, nutrition, and teamwork. Equipped with all the tools and guidance they need, campers can prepare simple recipes, experiment with flavors, and build confidence in the kitchen—making learning fun and delicious!

“JACKSON OPTIMIST CLUB” THEATRICAL ROOM: The Dress-Up Room is a playful space where campers can let their imaginations run wild. With costumes, props, and accessories for every theme, campers can create characters, act out stories, and enjoy endless creative role-playing fun.

R & R CANTEEN: The Canteen is a nook perfect for prepping fun-filled snacks, where campers can enjoy a variety of treats and refreshments while using the Dance Hall. From popcorn and drinks to sno-cones and cotton candy, this space is perfect for preparing tasty snacks and adding a little extra fun to every camp day.

DANCE HALL: The Dance Hall is a versatile, open space where campers can move, groove, and express themselves through music and dance. Perfect for group activities, dance lessons, or just letting loose, it’s also ideal for meetings, movie nights, and other special events—encouraging creativity, connection, and plenty of fun.
